Mark started his gaming career as a slot host in 1999, signing up guests for a players club card. Later, he added Limo Driver to his resume, and worked both jobs for a while, on call 24/7. (He says he’s got lots of stories he could tell, but he won’t ever!) He has especially enjoyed meeting so many amazing people over the years. He’s been a Casino Host at WaterView since 2006 and he’s committed to treating people fairly and with respect. Mark says it’s a challenge sometimes being a Casino Host because he never wants to say “no.” He’s a country boy at heart who loves Country & Southern Rock, golf, watching sports and going to the movies. His “babies” are his 2 Pugs and a Lhasa Apso.

Shellye started her casino career in 2000 and has worked in many areas of Casino Guest Service. She believes it’s one of the most important aspects of any business that serves the public, so she operates according to the Golden Rule: Treat people the way you want to be treated! She’s from a small town in Mississippi, and four generations of her family are still in her home state! This doesn’t mean she’s not educated, though you’ll hear her say “ain’t” and “y’all” quite often! She may bless a lot of hearts and will definitely greet you with an enthusiastic “HEY!!!” or “Hey, y’all!” and she’s likely to hug your neck before she’s learned your name. WaterView is lucky to have Shellye and she’s delighted to be a member of Team WaterView!

Shelia started her casino career in 2000 and has held several different positions in Guest Service. Shelia says the most rewarding part of her casino career has been meeting and building lasting relationships with the guests. Shelia’s goal as Casino Host is to help each guest have such a memorable and exciting visit, they are planning the next visit before they leave. Shelia enjoys spending time and making memories with her husband, 3 children, and 4 grandchildren. Shelia also enjoys gardening and cooking, especially old family favorites. Shelia is excited to be a part of the WaterView Team.
